Our story
Our workshop opened with a simple belief: clothing should adapt to people, not the other way around. Mass production creates efficiency, but it sacrifices fit. We chose a different path.
Starting with a single room and a commitment to traditional techniques, we built relationships with clients who valued precision. Word spread quietly, through recommendations and return visits.
Every project starts with listening. What do you need this garment to do? Where will you wear it? How do you want to feel in it? These questions shape everything that follows.
We work with natural fibers primarily. Wool, cotton, linen, silk. These materials breathe, age gracefully, and respond well to tailoring. Synthetic blends have their place, but natural fabrics offer qualities that can't be replicated.
Our workshop includes three experienced tailors, each bringing different specializations. One focuses on structural tailoring, working with heavier fabrics and complex construction. Another specializes in delicate materials and detailed finishing. The third handles alterations and repairs, understanding how to work with existing garments.
We also collaborate with a pattern maker who can create custom blocks for unique body types or design visions that standard patterns can't accommodate.
Quality over speed. We don't rush projects to meet arbitrary deadlines. Each garment needs the time it needs. That said, we communicate clearly about timelines and keep you informed throughout the process.
Honesty about what works. If a design idea won't suit your body type or lifestyle, we'll say so. Our goal isn't to sell you on a vision that won't serve you well.
Respect for materials. Fabric is expensive, and wasting it serves no one. We plan cuts carefully and often save remnants for repairs or small projects.
Measurements accurate to the millimeter. Seams that align perfectly. Buttonholes that function smoothly.
Garments built to last years, not seasons. Reinforced stress points. Quality thread and interfacing.
Designs that can be altered as your body or needs change. Flexibility built into the construction.
